Group Therapy: Healing Belonging Circle-90 min

$60.00

Community healing, skills, and support.

A small, clinician-led group designed to restore safety and belonging through shared story, skills practice, and mutual support. Grounded in Ethnotraumatology and the AIAER Model (Assess, Inform, Apply, Empower, Resilience), the Belonging Circle integrates culturally responsive care and—if desired—spirit-led elements with evidence-informed tools (CBT/DBT skills, narrative sharing, somatic grounding, boundary-setting, and repair rituals). We honor identity, culture, and faith as strengths while building regulation, communication, and resilience together.

What to expect

  • Format: 90-minute sessions (in person or secure telehealth) led by a therapist at The London Ethnotrauma Healing Center.

  • Structure: grounding & check-in → psychoeducation & skill of the week → guided practice → reflection & community commitments.

  • Cohort: closed group cycle (typically 6–8 weeks), 6–10 participants for safety and depth.

  • Agreements: confidentiality, cultural humility, consent-forward sharing, and crisis safety plan on file.

  • Who it’s for: adults seeking community, regulation skills, and healing from stress/trauma, identity strain, grief, or burnout.

  • Not appropriate for: immediate danger, active psychosis, or ongoing interpersonal violence—those require specialized/crisis services (call 911 or 988).

Outcomes you’ll work toward

  • Greater nervous-system regulation and coping, improved boundaries and communication, strengthened identity/faith resources, and a felt sense of belonging.

Payment: Private-pay accepted (Debit/Credit/HSA).
